Melrose Park Supports Local Manufacturers Through Cook County’s Manufacturing Reinvented Program
Melrose Park, June 16, 2023 –The Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development (MPCCCD) and Cook County Commission Frank Aguilar, hosted a highly successful event on at the Chamber. This event served as a platform to promote Cook County’s Manufacturing Reinvented program and provide support initiatives for local manufacturers, attracting nearly 40 businesses from the region.
The event showcased the invaluable partnership between the Village of Melrose Park, the MPCCCD, and Cook County government in fostering economic growth and innovation within the manufacturing sector. Representatives from Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC), a leading manufacturing consultancy, presented valuable information on their initiatives, offering insights into the latest trends and strategies for success in the evolving manufacturing landscape.
Commissioner Frank Aguilar addressed the audience, highlighting the significance of the Manufacturing Reinvented initiative in supporting local businesses and driving economic prosperity in the region. Doug Olson, Director of Special Initiatives and Business Development, stated, “The event was a resounding success, and we are incredibly proud to have played a role in bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders.
