Tax Credit Relief Program Helps Businesses Grow

Melrose Park, IL, 05.25.23 -Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development hosted a workshop, which brought together businesses to attend this special tax credit workshop. Nearly 45 businesses attended the event, to discuss the Employee Retention Tax Credit Relief Program, which gave local businesses the opportunity to learn about the program’s benefits and explore avenues for support and growth.

Isaac Bazbaz, the Executive Director of the MPCCCD, warmly welcomed the attendees to the workshop. Bazbaz emphasized the chamber’s commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering economic development in Melrose Park. Bazbaz also focused on the Chamber’s widely growing membership and the significant impact the Chamber has had across the area.

The workshop featured an informative session along with an overview given by Doug Olson, Ed.D, the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development for the Mayor’s Office of the Village of Melrose Park. Olson provided valuable insights into various programs and services available to businesses in the area. He highlighted the Mayor Serpico’s dedication to creating a business-friendly environment and the village’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurial endeavors.

Corrigan, who serves as the Proviso Township Supervisor and President of Corrigan Financial Services, brought his expertise in financial matters to the event.
