The Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development and Village Mayor Ron Serpico proudly hosted an After Hours Business Networking event, drawing nearly 75 attendees to the Melrose Park Civic Center Campus in an effort to continue to strengthen community ties.
The event, held on the evening of July 16, 2024, aimed at community-building among local business owners, community leaders, and professionals. Attendees enjoyed a delicious BBQ feast and pig roast, fostering a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for networking.
Mayor Ron Serpico highlighted the importance of such gatherings, stating, “Events like these are crucial for fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration among our local businesses. It’s wonderful to see so many key stakeholders in attendance, dedicated to making Melrose Park a thriving place to live and work.”
Isaac Bazbaz, Executive Director of the Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development, echoed these sentiments. “Our goal is to create opportunities for local businesses to connect, share ideas, and support each other. Tonight’s turnout and the enthusiasm we’ve seen are testaments to the vibrant and collaborative spirit of our community.” Chamber members continue to enjoy these networking opportunities for free as part of their annual membership dues.
