The Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development (MPCCCD) proudly participated as a key sponsor in the Village of Melrose Park’s inaugural National Night Out festival for first responders, held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Melrose Park Civic Center.
As one of the main sponsors of the event, the MPCCCD played a significant role in making the evening memorable by providing food and beverages for all attendees. The festival offered a unique opportunity for residents and their families to engage with first responders from the Melrose Park Police, Fire, and Homeland Security and Public Safety departments, as well as representatives from various community agencies.
Isaac Bazbaz, Executive Director of the Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development, expressed his enthusiasm about the event: “It was an honor to support and participate in this special event. Our community thrives when we come together to celebrate and connect with our first responders. Last night was a beautiful demonstration of unity and appreciation, and we are proud to have been part of it.”
Mayor Ron Serpico also commented on the success of the event: “The inaugural National Night Out was a tremendous success, and it’s thanks to the collaborative efforts of our community and dedicated sponsors like the Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development. The event provided a wonderful platform for residents to interact with and show their gratitude to our first responders, strengthening the bond between our public safety teams and the community.”
The event highlighted the vital role of first responders and provided an engaging and enjoyable experience for all who attended. The MPCCCD looks forward to continuing its support for such impactful community initiatives.
