The MPCCCD has partnered with the Cook County Small Business Source to assist small businesses in securing funds from the recently released 2023 Source grant as the deadline gets extended to 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25. Cook County has earmarked a staggering $40 million in funding to support small businesses that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2023 Cook County Source Grant aims to provide much-needed financial relief to local businesses that have faced unprecedented challenges due to the ongoing pandemic. The funds will aid these businesses in recovery and rebuilding efforts, helping to stimulate economic growth and preserve jobs within the community.
Over the past few weeks the MPCCCD has been assisting a number of small businesses with the application process. Small businesses play an integral role in our local economy, fostering innovation, providing employment opportunities, and contributing to the unique character of Melrose Park. Recognizing the vital importance of these businesses, the MPCCCD has taken proactive steps to ensure that eligible businesses have the necessary information and resources to successfully access the available funds.
