Employee Retention Tax Credit Workshop Provides Benefits to Business Owners
Melrose Park, IL, 04.24.23 – Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development (MPCCCD) will be hosting a workshop on the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). The workshop will provide business owners, executives, and HR professionals with a thorough understanding of the ERTC, including eligibility requirements, credit amounts, and how to claim the credit. The ERTC is a tax credit that was introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help businesses keep their employees on payroll. It is a refundable tax credit of up to $7,000 per employee per quarter for eligible employers.
The workshop will be led by Michael Corrigan, President of Corrigan Financial Services, Inc. and an expert in tax law and business strategy. Mr. Corrigan also serves as the Proviso Township Supervisor. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from his extensive experience and ask questions about how the ERTC can benefit their business.”We believe that this credit can make a significant difference for businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic, and we want to ensure that everyone who is eligible knows how to claim it,” said Isaac Bazbaz, Executive Director of the Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development.
